Select an appropriate intensity (LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH). Use the LOW setting on the head and for children. Use MEDIUM or HIGH for most other applications. Use for 10-20 minutes each session, 1-2 times per day for a period of 5-7 days. For example, in chronic back pain, apply to the affected area for 10-20 minutes at medium or high intensity, 1-2 times per day for 5-7 days.
