Pro Plus is formulated for the optimum health of all cells in the
body. It is rich in oligomeric proanthrocyanins (OPCs, a class of
bioflavonoid), derived from a variety of fruit and berry sources. This
truly synergistic formula joins highly concentrated grape seed extract
(OPCs at 95%), enhanced by citrus bioflavonoids with the strong
vitamin C and bioflavonoid sources of China's revered schizandra
berry, India's sacred amla berry, and acerola. Additional bio-flavonoid
sources are bilberry (rich in anthocyanins), the anti-allergy
quercetin, turmeric (rich in curcuminoids), and the cardiac tonic
hawthorn.
Also added is a strong grade of bromelain to facilitate proper
digestion. Bioflavonoids and vitamin C are the synergistic companions
that protect and maintain our cell and blood vessel walls. A main
function of bioflavonoids is to increase capillary and cell membrane
strength while regulating their ability to absorb and assimilate
substances. They protect vitamin C, which is essential in producing
the structural components of cell walls. This is a potent antioxidant,
making it beneficial in allergy and inflammation conditions. Its
antimicrobial activity protects against infection.
Pro Plus helps to strengthen and provide elasticity and
permeability in capillaries, thereby helping to heal injuries and
